What is Telehealth?
Telehealth is the same as any other physiotherapy appointment but it's done over video chat. You can be in the comfort of your own home, gym, work or even travelling overseas and still get the care you need!
What to expect:
Like any other appointment our team will start off by asking questions in regards to your pain/symptoms/issues/goals. This is then followed by specific assessment which changes depending on your needs. It may involve looking at you moving different body parts, doing different exercises and other tests to help us establish the cause of your symptoms or the best way to achieve your goals. Treatment may involve discussing the problem and giving you some handy tips and tricks. It can also involve our team showing you different exercises or treatment techniques so you can manage your program independently.
Is it suitable for me?
If you have an internet connection and a device with web camera (laptop, iPad, smartphone) you're ready for Telehealth!
Can I get medicare or private health rebates?
Unfortunately at this stage no governing body or private insurer will cover Telehealth consultations but this is a rapidly changing space and we anticipate that this may change shortly.
